Check-in/out Check-in: 3:30 pm Check-out: 11 am
Early arrivals and late departures: We do not offer early check in or late check out. If you arrive prior to 3:30 pm, we can store your luggage and you are welcome to use the Inn’s facilities.
Guaranteed reservations: Deposit equal to the value of your first nights stay is charged to your credit card at time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment by credit card is required 3 days prior to arrival and your credit card will be charged automatically.
Cancellation policy: All cancellations will result in a $10 administration fee. Cancellations must be received 10 days prior to arrival date so as to avoid further penalties and fees. Cancellations made within 10 days of arrival and prior to full payment being made are are subject to penalty equal to 50% deposit and tax charges. Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will be subject to penalty equal to 50% of entire stay.
*exceptions will be made where there are known special circumstances around the operation of the ferry due to inclement weather.
Covid 19: In the case of a national, provincial or regional lockdown; a credit for rebooking your stay on mutually agreed upon date or full refund (less administrative fee) within 21 days. Do not travel if you are ill, awaiting COVID19 test results, or have been in close contact with someone with a positive diagnosis. We’re not jerks. We’ll give you your money back if you need to stay home!
Group Bookings: Special conditions apply. For large group bookings (6 or more rooms) payment is required 30 days in advance. 50% refund on cancellations made within 30 days up to 5 days of arrival. Refunds not given within 5 days of arrival.

Children: Children must be supervised at all times at The Wandering Dog Inn.
There is a limit of two pets in our pet friendly room. For your safety as well as to be in compliance with Health Regulations, we cannot allow your pets in the main house. When leaving your pets unattended in your hotel room, we require they be placed in an approved kennel or crate while you are not with them. We also require your pets be leashed or otherwise contained when they are outside of the room. This is to protect your pet, as well as to provide peace of mind to our other guests
The Inn is not wheelchair accessible at this time.
